Launch and run the campaign

  1. Pick a start — the assistant asks you when the campaign should start: on a day you name (and, only if you want one, an end day), or as soon as it is launched.

  2. Prepare it — stage_campaign creates the campaign at the email provider from your approved sequence, as a draft: it sends nothing and is not active. Until it is launched, its dates can still change — call it again with every date it should carry, or with removeDates alone.

  3. Read the launch figures — get_campaign returns the four figures you confirm before a launch: contacts ready, sending mailboxes, emails on the first day and the weekly sending window.

  4. Approve the launch — launch_campaign opens an approval card. On your click, emails start going out in your name (from the start date, if it has one).

get_campaign reads the campaign’s state, its dates and the provider’s counters — sent, replies, opens, bounces — with the time they were last measured. list_replies lists the latest replies, most recent first: who replied, the subject, a snippet and when.

State Label in VibeSell
DRAFT Draft
STAGED Staged, not sending
RUNNING Sending
PAUSED Paused — not sending
COMPLETED Completed
ABORTED Stopped
  • A campaign can be paused by VibeSell — for example on bounces or unhealthy mailboxes. Your assistant tells you what it knows of why, and resume_campaign opens a card to send it out again from where it stopped.
  • stop_campaign stops the live campaign for good: not one more email goes out under it, and it never resumes or relaunches. It opens a card, and an assistant only calls it when you asked in your own words. For anything to go out again, a new campaign has to be prepared.

The campaign id these tools take is read from get_campaign or get_workspace_context — an assistant never invents one.
