Quickstart

You need a VibeSell account (you can create one on the consent page) and an MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth. The server URL is the same everywhere:

Claude app

Works on claude.ai and in the Claude desktop app. It is the only client that shows VibeSell’s interactive cards.

1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.

2. Name it VibeSell and paste the server URL https://api.vibesell.it/v1/mcp. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty: Claude registers itself.

3. Click Connect. A VibeSell page opens: sign in (or create your account), read what the app will and will never be able to do, and click Allow.

4. In a new chat, turn VibeSell on from the tools menu and ask:

   Where am I with VibeSell?

   Claude calls get_workspace_context and shows your workspace as a card.

Stop being asked before each step

Claude starts every connector’s tools on Needs approval. In Settings → Connectors → VibeSell, set them to Always allow. Purchases, lead imports and launches still wait for your click on their approval card.

Claude Code

1. Add the server — --scope user makes it available in every project:

   claude mcp add --transport http --scope user vibesell https://api.vibesell.it/v1/mcp

2. Start Claude Code, run /mcp, pick vibesell and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens VibeSell’s consent page: sign in and click Allow.

3. Ask:

   Count the dental clinics in France VibeSell can find for me.

Claude Code shows no cards: results arrive as text and JSON, and approval cards are decided in the VibeSell app.

Codex

1. Add the server:

   codex mcp add vibesell --url https://api.vibesell.it/v1/mcp

   This writes the following to ~/.codex/config.toml:

   [mcp_servers.vibesell]
   url = "https://api.vibesell.it/v1/mcp"

2. Sign in:

   codex mcp login vibesell

   Your browser opens VibeSell’s consent page: sign in and click Allow.

3. Start Codex and ask:

   What is waiting for my approval in VibeSell?

Codex shows no cards: approval cards are decided in the VibeSell app.

ChatGPT & others

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 (authorization code + PKCE) and dynamic client registration can connect:

1. Add a custom MCP connector (in ChatGPT, from the connectors or apps settings with developer mode on — menu names change between versions).

2. Give it the server URL https://api.vibesell.it/v1/mcp and choose OAuth as the authentication. No client id or secret is needed: the client registers itself at /v1/oauth/register.

3. Connect, sign in on VibeSell’s consent page and click Allow.

Clients other than the Claude app get results as text and JSON, without cards; approval cards are decided in the VibeSell app. Building your own client? See the protocol reference.

Check that it works

Ask your assistant “Where am I with VibeSell?”. It should call get_workspace_context and answer with your journey step — for a new workspace, Getting to know the offer.
