Import leads

Act · mcp:actApproval cardIrreversibleCalls a provider

Prepares the import of the leads a target returns, with their email addresses, into a named batch. It opens an approval card: only the user's click imports, and it spends one lead credit per lead asked for.

Description the model readsSent as is in tools/list.
Prepare the import of the leads a target returns, with their email addresses, into a named batch. It spends one lead credit per lead asked for, and cannot be undone — so it does NOT import: it opens an approval card, and only the user's click on it, here or in VibeSell, runs it. Count with estimate_lead_pool and show people with preview_lead_sample first. Needs an active plan.

The user says

Import 300 of these dentists into a batch called “Dentists FR — November”.

countriesenum[]optionalone of 249 values≤ 20 items

Whole countries to search, as ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes (FR, DE, US…). Each code covers the entire country. When the founder named a city or a region, it goes in places and its country stays out of this list.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

placesobject[]optional≤ 20 items

Cities or regions (state, province…) the founder named, one object per place: [{"city": "Las Vegas", "region": "Nevada", "country": "US"}]. Give a city, a region or both, never neither. country is always the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code: work it out yourself when the founder only named the city. Write the names in full and in English, as on a map. Several places read as one OR the other.

  • city stringoptional1–80 chars
  • region stringoptional1–80 chars
  • country stringrequired2–2 chars
excludedPlacesobject[]optional≤ 20 items

Cities or regions to keep OUT of the search, in the same form as places. It only cuts a place out of a wider one, so it never comes alone: France except Paris is countries ["FR"] with excludedPlaces [{"city": "Paris", "country": "FR"}], and that country stays in countries. It leaves out the address locationScope names: under COMPANY, people who work in that city for a company registered elsewhere still come back, so to keep out the people there, as for a local practice or shop, use CONTACT. Even then a city left out is approximate, some people listed in it still come back, while a region left out holds: never promise the founder that no one from that city remains, and never swap the city for its region without their say.

  • city stringoptional1–80 chars
  • region stringoptional1–80 chars
  • country stringrequired2–2 chars
locationScope"CONTACT" | "COMPANY"optional

Whose address countries, places and excludedPlaces filter on: CONTACT for where the person themselves is, which is what prospects in a city means; COMPANY for where the company is registered, whose people may live elsewhere. It narrows nothing on its own and is ignored when no country and no place is given.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

departmentsenum[]optionalone of 9 values≤ 20 items

Departments the champion works in.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

seniorityLevelsenum[]optionalone of 13 values≤ 20 items

How senior the champion is.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

jobTitlesstring[]optional1–80 chars≤ 20 items

Job titles the champion holds, whenever the founder names a role (Head of Sales, dentiste, CFO…), written the way people of that market write it on their profile. A title matches every job title that contains it, and several titles read as one OR the other. A title nobody holds comes back as zero leads without any error: that zero is not an empty market, reword the title.

excludedJobTitlesstring[]optional1–80 chars≤ 20 items

Job titles to keep OUT of the query, matched the same way: anyone whose job title contains one of them is left out, e.g. Intern or Assistant.

includedIndustriesenum[]optionalone of 20 values≤ 20 items

Industries to keep IN the query — everything else is left out.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

excludedIndustriesenum[]optionalone of 20 values≤ 20 items

Industries to keep OUT of the query.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

subIndustriesenum[]optionalone of 147 values≤ 20 items

Sub-industries to keep IN the query, for a niche narrower than an industry: Medical Practice rather than all of healthcare. Send them in place of includedIndustries, never with it: the provider adds a sub-industry to a whole industry instead of narrowing it, so both together search wider than either. Several sub-industries read as one OR the other.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

excludedSubIndustriesenum[]optionalone of 147 values≤ 20 items

Sub-industries to keep OUT of the query.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

revenueBandsenum[]optionalone of 8 values≤ 20 items

Yearly revenue brackets of the target companies, in US dollars. Several brackets read as one OR the other.

UP_TO_1MFROM_1M_TO_10MFROM_10M_TO_50MFROM_50M_TO_100MFROM_100M_TO_250MFROM_250M_TO_500MFROM_500M_TO_1BABOVE_1B

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

headcountBandsenum[]optionalone of 8 values≤ 20 items

Employee-count brackets of the target companies. headcountMin and headcountMax say the same with numbers of your own: use them instead, never both.

UP_TO_25FROM_25_TO_100FROM_100_TO_250FROM_250_TO_1000FROM_1K_TO_10KFROM_10K_TO_50KFROM_50K_TO_100KABOVE_100K

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

headcountMinintegeroptional≥ 1

The fewest employees a target company may have, as a whole number, 1 or more: 500 for at least 500 employees. Use headcountMin and headcountMax in place of headcountBands, never both: given together, the brackets are refused and the numbers kept.

headcountMaxintegeroptional≥ 1

The most employees a target company may have, as a whole number, 1 or more: 10 for up to 10 employees. Give it alone or with headcountMin, 11 and 50 for 11 to 50 employees.

technologiesstring[]optional1–80 chars≤ 20 items

Software the target companies use, by product name (HubSpot, Shopify…), when the founder names a tool their buyers run. Several read as one OR the other. A name the provider does not know comes back as zero leads without any error: that zero is not an empty market.

companyWebsitesstring[]optional1–80 chars≤ 20 items

Websites of the very companies to search, as bare domains (acme.com: no https://, no path), only when the founder names those companies: nobody else comes back. A domain the provider does not hold comes back as zero leads without any error.

lookAlikeWebsitestringoptional1–80 chars

The website of ONE company the founder holds up as the model of their target, as a bare domain (alan.com): the query returns companies like it. Leave it out when they named no such company.

fundingStagesenum[]optionalone of 17 values≤ 20 items

Funding rounds the target companies have raised. A company that never raised matches none of these, so a stage filter silently drops bootstrapped markets.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

companyEventsenum[]optionalone of 24 values≤ 20 items

Recent company news to require, e.g. HIRES or RECEIVES_FINANCING. The provider gives no date for these, so never tell the founder how recent they are.

→ see the lead filter vocabulary

keywordsstring[]optional1–80 chars≤ 20 items

Words the target COMPANY is found by, in its name or in the description of what it does, never in the person's job title: ["orthodontie"] finds orthodontic practices. Several read as one OR the other, so give each word its own item, in every language those companies describe themselves in: ["dentaire", "dental"]. Words written together in one item are searched as that exact phrase: "dentaire dental" is one rare phrase, not two words. A word no company is described by comes back as 0 without any error: that zero says nothing about their market, so try another word before concluding.

excludedKeywordsstring[]optional1–80 chars≤ 20 items

Words that keep a company OUT when its name or its description holds one of them. Same form as keywords: one word or exact phrase per item.

hiringForstring[]optional1–80 chars≤ 20 items

Jobs the target companies are hiring for right now, written as their job postings title them: ["Sales Development Representative"]. A company that recruits for a role is growing, and this filters on its open positions, never on the job title of the person contacted. Several read as one OR the other. The provider files most postings under their English title, even outside English-speaking countries: give the English title, with the local one beside it, ["Dental Assistant", "Assistant dentaire"].

cohortNamestringrequired2–120 chars

A short, recognizable name for this batch, so the founder finds the leads later.

maxLeadsintegerrequired1–1000000

How many leads to import at most. It is also what the import costs: one lead credit for every lead asked for here, whatever comes back. Size it yourself from the goal the founder gave you — but when they named a quantity, pass exactly that number: never round it, never raise it, and never carry over a figure agreed earlier in the conversation.

summarystringrequired3–300 chars

What is imported, in one sentence.
